Westshore Pizza has been making pizzas and opening locations since 1994. People in Tampa Bay know and love Westshore Pizza and have helped us grow to forty locations. Now we are taking this successful model to other parts of the country. Here are a few of the keys to our success and that make this the best opportunity in the pizza business.
Lower Startup Cost
We have consistently been able to open stores for less money than our competitors. This is possible for two reasons. First, Westshore Pizza does not require an expensive décor package, but instead works with existing locations to tailor an affordable build out package. Secondly, Westshore Pizza has extensive experience in finding locations that have previously been restaurants, saving you tens of thousands of dollars in startup costs. Often times these locations will have the hoods, grease traps and build out that is required and sometimes they will even have the grilles, fryers and ovens. We will work with you to identify these locations to lessen your startup costs and speed up your opening time.
Pizza and a Whole Lot More
We're more than just pizza. Yes it is true that we are known for our delicious hand tossed pizzas, but we have so much more. Our original Philly cheesesteaks are the real thing and our sandwiches, wings, stromboli, calzones, and pasta dinners are all made with the highest quality ingredients. Hungry for a sandwich? Try our hoagies, grinders or subs. As a franchisee the result is more revenue from more places.
Growth Opportunities
Westshore is well developed in the Tampa Bay area with forty locations but has ground floor opportunities available in other markets for single unit operators or area developers. Build your own Westshore network of stores and choose where to operate them. With many of our competitor you must work around existing franchise locations, often leaving you with the less desirable locations. With Westshore Pizza you are in on the ground floor and you can choose your territory.
Area Developers Opportunities
If your dream goes beyond owning a single location, then our Area Developer program many be just what you are looking for. Westshore Pizza's Area Developer Program is modeled after many other successful franchises including Firehouse Subs, Quiznos and The UPS Store. The Area Developer is our partner in developing an agreed upon region, that will support a minimum of thirty Westshore Pizza's. The Area Developer receives a portion of the franchise fee and royalties for the stores in their territory and in turn the Area Developer is responsible for selling the franchises and supporting the locations in their territory.
Here's how it works. A schedule is agreed upon for opening the stores in the territory and after an initial deposit of $2,950 per store, franchise fees and royalties (4.5% of sales) are split 50/50 between the Franchisor and the Area Developer. Area Developers are thus able to earn money off of all the Westshore Pizza's in their market.
The best news is that in many cases, our area developers can open their store and purchase the Area Developer rights for the territory for less money than opening a single location with our competitors.
