What do you believe is the single most important factor when choosing a franchise?
We are not a franchise. Franchises charge royalties. We are a business opportunity. It would not be fair for us to charge a royalty to our authorized technician for on-going support because they really don't need it because the operation is simple to learn, so we support provide for free.
Why should someone choose The BBQ Cleaner over other similar franchises?
Our offering has been a success nationally and around the world. There are no ongoing fees at all so you keep everything you make from the moment you start up. We also provide free support and have a proven efficient profitable cleaning process as demonstrated by all of our locations globally.. We also guide you through the start up phase and show you how to maintain your business once you are up and running.
What makes your industry attractive?
It is a needed service that homeowners nationwide use and since we are the only proven opportunity out there for prospective candidates, it's made us a logical fit for so many people since we started offering this exciting opportunity.
What types of qualities do you look for in potential franchisees?
We only select people who are driven to succeed, want to be successful and are looking to work from their homes and set their own schedule.
Why has your franchise model been successful?
It's been successful because the total package people receive has been tried and tested around the world since 1994. Our operators provide a service people need and are willing to use multiple times. By guiding people through every step along the way and giving them the blueprint to follow, it's been fairly simple for get up and running and realize their dream of running their own successful profitable business.
Where do you see The BBQ Cleaner in 5 years and 10 years?
We'll continue to help people across the United States live the dream of getting started with their own business. And we'll also continue to support our existing operations as we always do. We help them continue to grow their business into multiple unit locations to keep up with the demand that have generated as others have.
What is your favorite advice for new franchisees to help them succeed?
Work hard. You are your own boss so you need to push yourself. If you have the drive and the desire to be successful, your possibilities are endless with an opportunity like this.
What would you tell potential franchisees that may be nervous about the financial burdens of starting a franchise?
We've seen the concept work for years so there have been people in your situation who have gotten started and now are thankful everyday they did so. Since the cost of the business is so low, most people make back their investment quickly. Having to pay absolutely no on-going fees and royalties is a critical component as to why our operators have been able to make the type of money they have.
On average, how long does it take to start a new The BBQ Cleaner from the franchisees point of view?
We're able to get people up and running within 3 months.

"The onsite training has given me the insight to go forward with my business and make it successful quicker than if had I tried it alone. What the best advantage of the onsite training is being able to be led through the cleaning process both on the grill and the usage of the equipment. It just takes the guess work out of it. What I have learned has given me the confidence to completely clean grills that would please any client."
