Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is an international franchisor, confectionery manufacturer and retail operator in the United States, Canada, and the Philippines. As a chocolate manufacturer, the Company is based in the charming historical town of Durango located on the Western slope of the Rocky Mountains in Southwestern Colorado. From our 53,000 square foot factory, the Company produces an extensive line of premium chocolate candies and confectionery products to supply our many franchise locations, delivered fresh by our fleet of refrigerated trucks.

We value our guests and the best way we do that is by making sure we leave every customer with a smile. As a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory franchisee you'll learn to cook caramel apples and fudge the old fashioned way in full view of the customer using traditional cooking utensils such as copper kettles on gas-fired stoves and marble slab cooling tables. At Chocolate University you'll receive the training you need to make sure you're giving each customer an EXPERIENCE that will bring them back again and again to your gourmet chocolate store.

Satisfying Every Customer Craving

We're not your average chocolate shop. Our factory produces approximately 300 chocolate candies and confectionery products, using proprietary recipes developed by our master candy maker and handed down for decades. These products include an unmatched variety of clusters, caramels, creams, meltaways, peanut butter chocolates, truffles and molded chocolates. In-store, franchisees and staff prepare a wide array of caramel and candy apples, fudge, chocolate-dipped fruit and other treats and confections. We also feature an assortment of beautifully packaged candies in upscale boxes and bags, perfect for gift giving, holiday sharing and special occasions. So whether you need a pick-me-up snack or a decadent gift, we have just the thing to make life a little sweeter.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for franchise partners who have a PASSION for CHOCOLATE. Owners should be outgoing and be comfortable in the role of sales, marketing, and/or management experience, and who are results oriented. A person who can build relationships, lead a team, and who has the drive and motivation to excel. You must have a minimum of $70K in liquid capital and be able to fund a store build-out.
