The kebab business was birthed in Greece (Gyro) and has taken on different forms over the years in Europe, UK and the Middle East. It is classified as the Mediterranean sector of the food industry and is just beginning to take off in USA. A healthier alternative to burger, fries and pizza!!
How has your industry changed in the last 10 years? 20 years?
The doner kebab business has been perfected by the Turks and Germans and today it is perceived to be a healthier option.
What trends do you see in your industry over the next 5 years? Next 10 years?
I see huge growth as the younger generation who are now travelling more often and exposed to the food.
What is the biggest concern about your industry that a franchisee candidate should be aware of and investigate?
The key will be to ensure that the core ingredients are available at all times (supply chain).

We expect the franchisee to be engaed in the business and either operate from the outlet or have a separate office as they build the business.

Very focused around supporting and meeting the needs of the consumer. Secondly building and maintaining an open relationship with franchisees has built honesty, integrity and trust.

Get to understand the industry first and then invest.
