Ideal Candidate

• Ten (or more) years’ experience in technical fields, the building industry, or the practical application of engineering principles. Common backgrounds include engineering, architecture, business executive, facilities management, construction management, and design.
• A commitment to delighting clients with clear communications as well as objective, analytical, and detailed- oriented deliverables.
• A marketing and business orientation capable of building a market presence, retaining clients, attracting and managing talent, and maintaining financial discipline.

History

Since 1957, Criterium Engineers has evaluated more than 750,000 buildings across the U.S. and Canada. We look at more than 15,000 buildings and visit more than 100 construction sites every year. Our staff of licensed, Professional Engineers offer skills in structural, civil, and mechanical engineering, project management, and much more. From diagnostics to due diligence, from commissioning to envelope performance to HVAC systems, we help our clients with even the most complex projects. Training and Support

Training begins with an intensive 5-day course for new franchisees at our corporate office in Maine. But it doesn’t end there. Training and continuing education are cornerstones of the Criterium Engineers affiliate program. After you return to your office and get started, we will spend another 5 days with you to be sure you are headed in the right direction. Every other year, we host a conference with featured speakers addressing a wide range of engineering and business development topics. We also sponsor additional programs, webinars and seminars periodically, to keep our engineers updated and informed about relevant engineering- and real estate-related developments and trends.
