About Us

City Lifestyle launched Leawood Lifestyle, its flagship publication, in September 2009. In a time of economic downturn, Leawood Lifestyle’s uplifting content and good news about the community was welcomed by readers, and the community-inspired content immediately became something that neighbors looked forward to receiving in their mailboxes each month. By mid-2011, Lifestyle was producing four community-focused monthly publications which served nearly 60,000 homeowners in the most affluent suburbs of Kansas City. With such success in the Kansas City market, Lifestyle licensed the rights to produce magazines across the country and is now represented by 120 magazines in 32 states and counting.

This process has proven to yield great earning potential for our publishers.  The average commissions paid for 2020 was $91,011, with the highest payout being $588,378.**

**This information reflects the 55 Licensed Businesses that were in operation as of January 1, 2020, operated for at least 12 months as of December 31, 2020, and that published magazines for the entire 2020 calendar year.  Of the 55 Licensed Businesses that were included, 16 Licensed Businesses (or 29%) met or exceeded the average Commissions Paid amount. Ideal Candidate

We want to partner with high-level sales professionals that are passionate about their community and have the desire and grit to build something they are proud to call their own! We look for individuals that have pride, enthusiasm, passion, confidence, and an old-school work ethic. Sales and marketing experience is beneficial, but not necessary, as we have a proven business model that is paired with unparalleled training and support that allows you to focus on sales and growth, while we take care of the heavy lifting to produce and distribute your publication. You must be ready to make a full-time commitment and be able to go 4-6 months without income during the launch of your business.
