How
was your The Physicians Practice S.O.S. Group originally conceived and started?
The CEO began independently consulting in
1999 with physicians and found that many were overwhelmed by not only trying to
maintain the business side of their practice but also by the multitude of healthcare changes. As she helped them streamline and organize their practices,
Ms. Bates came to be known as Ms. S.O.S. because she was frequently called upon
to assist her clients with business crises. Being both consultant and educator
during those years, Ms. Bates heard the cries of numerous physicians expressing
a dire need for assistance with the many non-medical facets of their practice.
In 2003, knowing she had acquired the breadth of knowledge and experience
necessary to offer physicians a unique service – both a comprehensive business
consulting and an educational package – she created The Physicians Practice
S.O.S. Group in Atlanta, Georgia. Now the ever changing healthcare market has a
need for better consultants to help serve the many needs of a medical practice.
