Cooking Passion Leads Man to Open New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Hometown

Joe Mamary’s passion for cooking attracted him to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. On Thursday, November 20 at 11 a.m., Mamary opens the first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in his hometown of Wilkes-Barre. To celebrate his new barbecue business, Mamary is throwing a three-day grand opening.

“I’m looking forward to living my lifelong dream of cooking and bringing the best barbecue to my hometown,” said first time owner, Joe Mamary. “My philosophy aligns perfectly with Dickey’s brand promise which is about being passionate about the art of great barbecue.”
