Businessman & Barbecue Lover Opens Dickey’s Barbecue in Springtown

Abid Masood has quite the resume with experience as a loan officer and licensed realtor, district manager to a chain of convenience stores and most recently running his own convenience store and deli. On Thursday, November 13 at 11 a.m., Masood will add Dickey’s Barbecue Pit owner operator to his resume when he opens the first location in Springtown.

The three-day grand opening kicks off on Thursday when the first 50 dine-in guests receive gift cards worth up to $50. On Friday, Dickey’s Barbecue will offer all day merchandise giveaways. On Saturday, from noon to 2 p.m. guests can stop by for $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. Country station 95.9 The Ranch will be on hand and one lucky winner will win a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year.
